Just 2 minutes' walk from Sullivan's Cove and Salamanca Place, this restored mansion in Hobart offers modern accommodations with flat-screen cable TV and panoramic views of the harbor, mountain, city... Beautiful property and really nice building. Super clean with rooms that were very spacious. Very nice historical artifacts situated all over the hotel. The private garden was nice to have a drink at the end of the day. The location of the hotel could not be beat. It right on the wharf and close to many restaurants. All within walking distance. The city center was about a 10 minute walk. As you would expect in a property like this, the staff was excellent.

Well located in the center of Hobart, Shipwrights Arms Hotel provides free WiFi, a shared lounge and free private parking for guests who drive. I made a mistake when I booked. I was upset, just had surgery and could not walk up stairs. The staff got around me and helped me find suitable accommodation. I have never had such fantastic treatment. Thanks J

This is a well laid out, comfortable property, in an excellent location. And the hosts are generous and attentive. We spent a week here with 2 adult children and had plenty of space for everyone to chill out. The fire was cosy, the beds comfortable and the kitchen made it easy to enjoy a few home prepped meals.
