Fairfield House is situated at the western end of Emu Bay, one of Kangaroo Island's most popular holiday destinations. Built in 1997 it provides a high standard of executive family accommodation. It is sited on three acres of absolute coastal frontage and boasts a private beach within metres of the front door.

The two master bedrooms (with king beds and electric blankets) have views overlooking the bay. The other bedrooms each have four single bunks and generous built in wardrobes, allowing easy accommodation for up to 12 people making it ideal for 1 or 2 families. The two modern bathrooms, separate the master bedrooms and bunk bedrooms on both sides of the house.

Two main features of the house are the enormous kitchen / living area (approximately 140 sq m!) which opens onto a substantial timber decking, all which enjoy breathtaking 200 degree views of Emu Bay.

Fairfield House has other facilities to make your visit totally memorable including , dishwasher, TV, DVD, CD / radio player and a gas BBQ for outside entertaining.
Fishing is one of the popular activities at Emu Bay and Fairfield House is one of the very few properties providing an aluminium dinghy with 15hp motor for hire for those with a current boat license (conditions apply).

For nature lovers, penguins can be both heard and seen at night at the front of the property. Dolphins can often be seen from the large deck along with kangaroos, wallabies, echidna's and goanna's from time to time.
