A 150 plus year old hotel, the Peel Inn Nundle, is nestled in the hills of the great dividing range. The hotel was built in 1860 and was won in a poker game by John Schofield in about 1863. The hotel still remains in the Schofield family to this day. It has a six metre deep veranda which was attached in the early 1900s. Their famous grapevine covered beer garden offers scrumptious pub style food.
