In Washpool National Park, access to Coachwood picnic area, Bellbird and Coombadjha rest areas is provided by Coombadjha road which leaves the Gwydir Highway 75 kilometres east from Glen Innes. Picnic facilities and a lookout are also provided at the Granites picnic area. Walking tracks commence from Coachwood picnic area and Coombadjha rest area. Access for wilderness walking is via Moogem Road which branches off Coombadjha Road just before the facility areas. Pit toilets, camping and barbecue sites are available at Washpool National Park.
